This is true self-respect
A wonderful practice to achieve a deep state of peace and calm is to stop identifying with your thoughts, feelings and story.
Just remain as the silent ‘Witness’ to all your experiences, whether they are good or bad. Remain observing what ‘is’ in this present moment. Stay silent within.
See for yourself what happens when you move your attention to this place of observing instead of identifying. You may realise then that you are not your thoughts, emotions, memories, conditioning, nor your body. Your mind will become still and clear then, its true nature.
Resist the temptation to go with any mind-flow.
Step out of the traffic of thoughts and ideas, and just be here now without your story.
